PSS Sleman, founded in 1976, returned to the Super League in 2026 after finishing as Championship runners-up. The club plays in green and white and is nicknamed 'Super Elang Jawa' (Super Java Eagles).

Home games are at Maguwoharjo Stadium, north-east of Yogyakarta city. The Brigata Curva Sud in the south stand are famous across Asia for non-stop singing and large choreographed displays, and fans stay after the final whistle to sing the anthem 'Sampai Kau Bisa'. It is one of the best atmospheres in the country.

Tips for visitors

  • Tickets go very fast (14,000 sold out in about 2 hours for the first 2026-27 home game), so be online the moment sales open.
  • Brigata Curva Sud in the south stand chant non-stop for 90 minutes and stage some of Asia's best choreography; PSS fans follow a no-insults policy towards opponents.
  • Stay for 'Sampai Kau Bisa', the anthem fans sing after the final whistle.
