Bali has one top-flight club, Bali United, and it is the easiest Indonesian football experience for a holidaymaker. The club plays at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar, around an hour's drive from Kuta and Seminyak and closer to Ubud and Sanur, so a match fits neatly into a Bali trip.

Bali United is one of the best-organised clubs in the country, with online ticketing, a modern matchday operation and a strong family crowd alongside its vocal supporter groups. The season runs from September to May, with home games roughly every other week.
