Borneo FC was founded in 2014 and has become the strongest club on the island of Borneo, finishing as Super League runners-up in 2025-26. The nickname 'Pesut Etam' refers to the Irrawaddy dolphin of the Mahakam River, and the team plays in bright orange.

Segiri Stadium sits right in the middle of Samarinda, close to the Mahakam riverfront. Its tight stands and the Pusamania supporters give it a loud, intimidating atmosphere that fans call the 'Theater of Hell'.

Tips for visitors

  • Buy through the official store at ticket.borneofc.id rather than from touts.
  • Segiri is nicknamed the 'Theater of Hell' by fans - it is compact and loud, so expect a tight, noisy atmosphere.
  • Being central, it is easy to combine the match with dinner on the Mahakam riverfront afterwards.

Fixtures, venues and ticket rules change often. Check the club's official channels before you travel.
