Persita Tangerang was founded in 1953 and plays in purple. The nickname 'Pendekar Cisadane' comes from the Cisadane River that runs through Tangerang, and the club's supporter groups include La Viola and the North Legion ultras.

The usual home is the Indomilk Arena in Kelapa Dua, near Karawaci, about 45 to 90 minutes from central Jakarta. In late 2026 Persita used Banten International Stadium in Serang while storm damage to the Indomilk Arena roof was repaired, so check the venue before you go.

Tips for visitors

  • Check which ground is in use: Persita were playing at Banten International Stadium in Serang, far from Jakarta, while the Indomilk Arena roof is repaired.
  • Persita v Persija is a high-tension fixture with a history of supporter clashes, so a neutral first-timer is better off at a lower-key match.
  • Download the official Persita app before matchday to buy tickets and follow fixture or venue changes.

Alternate venue: Banten International Stadium, Jalan Raya Serang - Pandeglang, Kadukilung, Curug, Baros, Serang Regency, Banten 42171 (lat -6.1993456, lng 106.1317731): temporary home until about Nov 2026 while the Indomilk Arena roof, damaged by a storm, is repaired

Fixtures, venues and ticket rules change often. Check the club's official channels before you travel.
