Bali United was formed in 2015 and quickly became one of the best-run clubs in Indonesia, winning the top-flight title in 2019 and again in 2021-22. The team plays in the Balinese 'Tridatu' colours of red, white and black, and is nicknamed Serdadu Tridatu.
The club's home is Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Blahbatuh, Gianyar, a compact 18,000-capacity ground with a good view from every seat. Matchdays mix families, tourists and the vocal supporter groups at each end, making it a relaxed introduction to Indonesian football for first-time visitors to the island.
Fixtures, venues and ticket rules change often. Check the club's official channels before you travel.
